The World Human Resource Congress (WHRC) 2024 kicked off in Singapore with a dynamic three-day program from May 14–16, bringing together Human Resource (HR) professionals, business leaders, and talent experts from around the globe. Organised by the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), this year’s event is themed “People. Possibilities. Paradoxes: Scripting the Frontier of Work.”

With over 60 international speakers, the congress features sessions focused on leadership, business and digital transformation, and C-suite strategy. It also offers extensive networking opportunities for professionals to connect, exchange insights, and build a global HR community.

YBhg. Datuk Shahul, the Chief Executive of HRD Corporation, participated as a panellist on the opening day, May 14, during a session titled “The CEO’s Transformation Agenda: Organisational Priorities, Threats and Possibilities.” The session delved into three key areas: identifying critical organisational priorities in a rapidly evolving world, recognising threats that accompany new challenges, and exploring transformative possibilities for growth and innovation.

Datuk Shahul’s insights contributed to a thought-provoking discussion, reinforcing the importance of agile leadership and strategic foresight in navigating today’s complex business landscape.
