Hosted by Malaysia as the ASEAN Chair and is expected to be a landmark initiative to address the region’s skills gap and drive human capital development across ASEAN.
The Planning Workshop was organised to bring together the representatives from ASEAN member states, academia, employer-employee representatives, youth and civil society and other key stakeholders to align efforts and mobilise resources and strategies for AYOS 2025.
The Planning Workshop was expected to produce a range of output to guide the implementation of AYOS 2025, including:
- Planning and detailing the content for AYOS 2025 objectives
- Identifying flagship platforms for AYOS 2025
- Developing the AYOS 2025 action plan
