ASEAN Human Capital Development Investment Symposium (AHCDIS) 2025. Held under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and in conjunction with the ASEAN Year of Skills (AYOS) 2025.

The inaugural ASEAN Human Capital Development Investment Symposium (AHCDIS) 2025 brought together over 300 participants, including ASEAN representatives, senior government officials, private sector leaders, international organisations, and development partners.

Held at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, the symposium served as a dynamic platform to explore sustainable investment models in human capital, foster regional collaboration, and accelerate skills development across ASEAN.

  • Ministerial & High-level Address: Featuring policy insights and national commitments to inclusive workforce development.
  • Panel Discussions: Tackling innovative financing mechanisms, public-private partnerships, future-proofing the ASEAN workforce and workforce inclusion.
  • Regional Launch of the AHCDIS under the AYOS 2025: Reinforcing the region’s collective commitment to upskilling, reskilling, and investing in people.

The symposium concluded with a strong call for action to build resilient, inclusive, and future-ready human capital ecosystems anchored by collaboration, investment, and innovation.
